Terms and Conditions

Etta French is a maker of luxury jewellery candles and beautifully perfumed products. As in any business, we have to get the legal (boring) bits right. So here are our terms and conditions, which will apply if you are using this site and/or placing an order with us. Spend a few moments to read these, and our privacy policy before placing your order. These terms apply to goods ordered via the internet. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time but, in respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when placing your order.


You can place an order online with us via our shop. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result because of one of the following:
The product you ordered being out of stock 
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error


If you wish to cancel your order placed online, please contact Etta French via
email at: hello@ettafrench.com, stating your intention to cancel the order. It may not always be possible to stop an order from being dispatched, as we endeavor to process orders immediately. In order to change the details of your order, you must notify us within 1 hour of your order being placed. Please have the order number to hand. After this time we are unable to amend your order. The Returns Policy is for goods purchased on our website. We will only refund or exchange unused home fragrance products if they are returned to us in their original packaging and in re-saleable condition. Candles are only eligible for return if the wick has not been lit, the glass is not scratched, broken or damaged and the packaging is in perfect condition.

We hope that you will be pleased with your order. However, if you have any problems please notify us in writing, or by email, or by contacting customer services at hello@ettafrench.com within seven days of receipt of your order.

Please include the following details;
* Order number
* Your Name and address
* Description and reason for return.

Upon receipt of your correspondence we will provide further instructions to complete your return, replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

If you return items for reasons other than defects, or incorrect delivery, you will be required to pay for the return postage costs. Please ensure that the package is wrapped and boxed securely and for your protection we recommend that you obtain a 'certificate of postage' from the Post Office, as we cannot accept liability for goods lost in transit, or broken by being poorly wrapped. Replacement goods will be sent to you free of additional postage and packaging costs using our standard delivery tariff.

(UK) Standard Delivery within 2-5 working day - Free

(UK) Special Delivery for next day delivery by 1pm (weekdays only) £10

*to be placed by 2pm to qualify for next day delivery

Please allow 1 – 2 business days to process your order before delivery. We try to be much quicker – but it may take a little long during busy periods.

* Please note that working days for us are Monday - Friday 9am till 4pm and do not include national UK bank holidays or weekends.


In order for a promotion or offer to be applied to your order, a valid promotion code must be entered into the promotion code box on the basket page. Etta French cannot be held responsible for not discounting the order if a valid code has not been entered. If placing an order by telephone you must quote the promotion code before placing your order.
